They’re caused by a lack of self-discipline and the choice to believe lies about what health actually is. Whether it’s staying up late, eating garbage, or handing your health over to people who just manage disease with pills, the path to breakdown is simple- just follow the crowd. I reference Brian Tracy’s The Power of Self-Discipline to show how basic, consistent habits like waking up early and eating with intention can completely shift your trajectory.
The reality is, if you’re sick, tired, overweight, or stuck, you probably haven’t been told the truth. We’ve normalized dysfunction and glamorized poor choices. Being 55 pounds overweight isn’t healthy. Shoveling garbage into your mouth isn’t freedom, it’s self-sabotage. If that offends you, good. Maybe it’s the wake-up call you need. Because if you actually want to feel good, think clearly, and live well, you’ll need to step up, take responsibility, and start doing the hard things. Discipline isn’t punishment- it’s power.
