I want to discuss stem cell therapy, a topic I’m often asked about. There are two main types: embryonic stem cells, which raise ethical concerns, and induced pluripotent stem cells, extracted from sources like bone marrow or fat cells. However, these procedures can be painful, risky, and expensive. Importantly, no stem cell therapies for neurodegenerative conditions are FDA-approved, and in my experience treating thousands of patients since 2008, I’ve seen minimal positive outcomes. Despite costs ranging from $5,000 to $500,000, the benefits are often temporary or nonexistent.
The key question isn’t about adding stem cells but understanding why our natural stem cells aren’t regenerating effectively. Since 95% of diseases are epigenetic, the underlying issues often include chronic injuries, chemical imbalances, medication side effects, diabetes, blood sugar irregularities, poor methylation, gastrointestinal problems, inflammatory conditions, and hormonal imbalances. Addressing these root causes can significantly improve a patient’s health.. Addressing these root causes can yield noticeable improvements within weeks, with long-term stabilization seen in 90% of my patients. Many also reduce medication use, improving their overall health.
Rather than starting with stem cell therapy, it’s better to focus on personalized care to optimize the body’s natural regenerative abilities. This approach leads to lasting improvements in function and quality of life. I hope this helps clarify the topic. Thank you!
